ProgramminG
Untold wonders await you at "Steampunk Atlantis!" In addition to all your favorite panels and events of the past 5 years, here are a few of our stand-out favorites for 2022. (To view our full schedule, click here or get it on the go via the AirTable app!)
"Treasures of the Deep" Formal ball
Continuing the tradition of having a formal shindig on Friday before our Saturday night dance party, this year we present the ASE Formal: "Treasures of the Deep!" Come early to learn ballroom basics from a dance instructor and then dance the night away.
Formal attire recommended but not required.

HRM'S KRAKEN NEUTRALIZATION DEVICE COMPETITION
That dastardly kraken damaged the dome protecting the lost city of Atlantis and delaying our journey underseas by a year. Now, Queen Victoria is asking her Royal Aquanauts to devise a device capable of protecting the city from further attacks. Will you answer the call?
VALENTINE'S DAY TEA
With our move to February, ASE now falls on the perfect date for a little Victorian extravagance. Visit our tea room throughout the weekend for a variety of tantalizing treats prepared by our tea maven, Mistress Phyllis Adaire, as well as a few special 21+ events. And be sure to sign up for our Sunday Valentine's Tea, where a special menu will be prepared that you will not want to miss.
tea room packages available on-site

SILENT FILM SERIES & PERFORMANCES BY
VALENTINE WOLFE
"A symphony of darkness," Valentine Wolfe has been a long-time friend of ASE. In addition to a live concert on Saturday night, they will be bringing back their silent film series Friday with their George Melies mini film festival, and debuting a "Phantasmagoria Magic Lantern Show" with fellow presenter Brett King on Sunday!
THE ATLANTA STEAMPUNK EXPO YOUTH ACADEMY
Since its conception, ASE has always been a family-friendly event with programming for attendees of all ages; however, this year we are pleased to be introducing youth-specific panels led by our own Headmistress Corbet! The Atlanta Steampunk Expo Youth Academy will instruct members on manners, history, science, making, crafting and more.

"ASE AFTER DARK"
Beginning at 8pm and running until late, ASE offers "after dark" programming for a more mature audience. Whether it's our "Gothic Heroines Book Club," "Hysteria & the Occult," or other discussions on the more tawdry details of our history; or it's games like "Victorian Vulgarities: or How to Curse in the Queen's Realm," be sure to leave the little ones at home and come learn something you might not have known before.
STEAMPUNK CULTURE MOVING FORWARD
Where are we headed? What does the next generation of Steampunk look like? What are the things we are excited about, curious about, and incorporating into this broad and evolving genre? Join us for several panels throughout the weekend about inclusivity in the Steampunk world and how the next generation is boldly going where no Steampunk has gone before...

AND MUCH MUCH MORE!
